The Problems and Development Trends of Armavir Regional Library․ Facing the Challenges of The 21st Century

Abstract

The regional library of Armavir, the urban and community libraries operating in the region preserve and spread the centuries-old national and world literary and cultural heritage, make available to the public new scientific achievements, changes and developments in social and political life.
In the frame of this study, we present the achievements and problems of libraries operating in Armavir region in the context of the development of in-formation technologies of the 21st century. We especially emphasize the idea of creating a digital model of the Armavir regional library, which is very important for properly organizing the future activities of the libraries.
