The journal has established publication ethics and editorial policies, which are reflected on HALA website.
● The journal accepts both single-author and co-authored articles. All co-authors share joint responsibility for the content of the publication and have equal rights. At the time of submission, all authors and their contributions must be clearly indicated. Any changes to the list of authors are possible only with the consent of all authors.
● The journal ensures a fair and transparent process for handling complaints and appeals. Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions or peer review reports by providing well-founded arguments. In such cases, the article may be sent for an additional (second) review. All complaints are considered impartially by the editorial board, and final decisions are made based on academic standards.
● The journal takes all forms of research misconduct seriously, including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and other violations. Submissions are checked using appropriate software tools to detect similarities and improper borrowing. In cases of suspected misconduct, the editorial office contacts the author(s) for clarification. If corrections are possible, authors are given the opportunity to revise the manuscript prior to publication. In cases of serious or uncorrectable violations, the article is rejected or retracted. When necessary, the journal may inform the relevant institutions.
● The journal requires authors, reviewers, and editorial board members to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. If a conflict of interest exists, it is indicated in the publication or otherwise appropriately managed by the editorial office.
● The journal encourages transparency and accessibility of research data. Authors are encouraged, where possible, to provide the data underlying their research or indicate sources of data availability to ensure reproducibility of results.
● All articles must comply with international ethical standards. Where applicable, authors must provide relevant ethical approvals or permissions.
● Copyright of the articles remains with the authors; however, by submitting for publication, they grant the journal an appropriate license. The journal respects intellectual property rights and does not tolerate their violation.
● The journal encourages scholarly discussion of published articles. Readers may submit comments, opinions, or responses, which may be published following editorial review.
● If significant errors or violations are identified after publication, the journal is committed to issuing corrections or, when necessary, retracting the article, in order to uphold academic integrity and transparency.
